The most dangerous political party in the United States

In 2000, they elected George W. Bush, an advocate for the fossil fuel industry in the United States, defeating Al Gore, a defender of the environment who had been campaigning about the dangers of global warming.

In 2016, they elected Donald Trump, a man who claimed that global warming was “a hoax” and who had pledged he would support the fossil fuel industry (as he did, among other things, by withdrawing the United States from the Paris Accord against climate change).

In 2024, they are running again in the US Presidential Election, knowing full well that they have no chance of winning and also knowing that their candidate will steal votes from the Democrats and help again a Republican in the race for the White House. The Republican Party is the party of climate change deniers and fossil fuel enthusiasts who want to “drill, baby, drill”. Their candidate is the same Donald Trump, a man who now, among other inanities, has vowed that he will take down wind turbines.

So, who are they, these enemies of the environment? They are… the Green Party. The party that elected George W Bush in 2000 by offering the American people the alternative of voting for Ralph Nader, supposedly in order to defend the environment.

They are at it again, now, with the same woman, Jill Stein, who stole votes from Hillary Clinton in 2016 and will next month steal votes from Kamala Harris.

And they do all this in order (the say) “to save the environment”.

The Green Party is the most dangerous and obnoxious political party in the United States of America.
